Example for a marketing plan

When making a 360 marketing plan, you can use as many calendar rings as you’d like, with the colors you like, and as many labels, as you need. We suggest you try to keep the rings down to three or four, so you don’t lose the overview.

A way to set up your marketing plans could be by dividing up your plan into paid socials, paid ads, and seasonal campaigns, with important marketing days such as Valentine’s, Halloween, Black Friday, and so on. Label your Paid socials in intuitive colors, by labeling, or coloring Facebook activities blue, Snapchat yellow, and Instagram pink. This gives you a great visual overview.

This way you will always know what to focus on. With the campaign ring, you can identify what other initiatives could be affected and used for the same campaign.

Another benefit of making your marketing plan circular is that you can keep colleagues and other departments up to date, at all times. By integrating the marketing wheel on your intranet, or letting your colleagues have readers access to the plan, they can always have an updated look into your plans.
