A 360 view of your marketing plan
A unique overview of all marketing channels and -initiatives

Get an overview of your marketing plan
In the marketing department, there is always a lot going on. Campaigns, channels, holidays, and happenings, and some even overlap. Having a total overview and good communication is necessary. The 360 overview Plandisc provides, ensures exactly that overview. With weeks, days, and months all in one glance, with the ability to filter and change to the perspective you need. And on top of it all; you can share the marketing plan with other departments, bosses, or colleagues, to ensure that they are updated on what’s going on at all times. This helps the sales team be ready for every campaign, ensures that support knows what requests might come in, and the administration knows not to set meetings with you in the middle of a campaign launch.
Why choose a circular planning tool?
For the marketing department to succeed, it’s not enough to be well driven internally in the department. You must also collaborate with other departments, keep everyone involved updated, and communicate smoothly internally and externally. When all parts work on their own, without proper communication, you create silos in your organization. This in the end can lead to a bad work environment and employees leaving the firm.
Silos like these are big trouble, first internally, but if they are allowed to grow, it will also affect customers in the end. This is not the optimal way to run an organization. But with proper planning and good information flow, between departments, you will break down these silos, and everyone is updated on what campaign is rolling out, and are prepared to take care of the customers, the best way they know how.

Example for a marketing plan
When making a 360 marketing plan, you can use as many calendar rings as you’d like, with the colors you like, and as many labels, as you need. We suggest you try to keep the rings down to three or four, so you don’t lose the overview.
A way to set up your marketing plans could be by dividing up your plan into paid socials, paid ads, and seasonal campaigns, with important marketing days such as Valentine’s, Halloween, Black Friday, and so on. Label your Paid socials in intuitive colors, by labeling, or coloring Facebook activities blue, Snapchat yellow, and Instagram pink. This gives you a great visual overview.
This way you will always know what to focus on. With the campaign ring, you can identify what other initiatives could be affected and used for the same campaign.

An interactive, annual marketing plan
Another benefit of making your marketing plan circular is that you can keep colleagues and other departments up to date, at all times. By integrating the marketing wheel on your intranet, or letting your colleagues have readers access to the plan, they can always have an updated look into your plans.
You can even collaborate on making the marketing plan remotely, by for example using Plandisc in-app in Microsoft Teams. That way you don’t even have to share screens or jump in and out of different programs, you just do it all directly in Teams. You can also easily synchronize the Plandisc with your already made plans from Outlook- or Google calendar.
